DGR week with Lierre Keith pt 2

Hello!!

Welcome to R.A.G.E. as we continue DGR week.

I am your host Seymour Lyphe

It has been a very sad time for those in the activist community waking up to the news that Howard Zinn has died.

Here is a tribute to him done by Democracy Now! with guests Alice Walker, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein and Anthony Arnove.

Also, to all Abertans and Canadians, I want to bring your attention to this:

Is the Alberta government water law going to leave you high and dry?

The war for water has now begun in full swing.

Why this is important to Canadians is because this is about the tar sands,

about the rights of the living world, of  which you are a part, over that of corporations,

about who defines your value and right to live as a being on this Earth.

Its about everyday access to water and who decides who survives, because water is life.

If  this happens in Alberta, it will soon be nation wide.

All the more reason to start building and solidifying your culture of resistance.

Lierre’s discussion on resistance could not be more timely and important.
